Biography

Cassidy Wray is a Chicago based AEA Stage Manager, Dresser, and Thrifting Enthusiast.  Born and raised in Lancaster Pennsylvania, she spent her early years reading books on the roof of her shed and feeding alpacas on her grandparents' farm.  Her childhood goal was to be the next Hannah Montana and on the path to stardom she discovered an absurd amount of enthusiasm for detailed spreadsheets, routine, and solving problems before they cause chaos.  She moved to Chicago with 2 weeks' notice to be on Wardrobe Crew at Northlight Theatre and has since worked across the Chicagoland area with Goodman Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Drury Lane Theatre, The Story Theatre, Remy Bumppo Theatre Company, Teatro Vista, Paramount Theatre, and Writers Theatre among others.   

 Cassidy is passionate about living a full life beyond her work and is often found browsing (and sneezing) around an antique store or reading memoirs in the park.  At the end of the day, she likes to say her life has turned into the Disney Channel Original Movie she's always dreamed of.  But really, she's just a dreamer from a farm town who moved to the city with big goals and clearly detailed plans to get her there.
